Conference Weekend!

So, I'm not sure about everyone else, but I LOVED conference this weekend! I felt the spirit so strong and I loved each and every talk that I was able to listen too! TJ and I were both laughing histarically at President Monson's closing remarks in the afternoon session as well. How humble he is and my love for him has grown tremendously, especially over this weekend! Plus, thanks to Alyssa for her great pie recipe and for setting the tradition of Conference Pie. I had to include a picture of the Best Pie I have Ever made! =)
Besides great talks, we have really enjoyed our weekend! Friday night, we were all geared up to go out, when TJ looked at me and said, "I'm really kind of tired tonight," so instead I cooked some dinner (which included homemade breadsticks just for TJ) and we watched the Jazz game! It was pretty low key, but really fun to just sit at home and talk! Then Saturday I had to work, so we watched and listened to conference on the radio, and then headed out for some dinner. TJ has been searching since we got here for a great brownie and ice cream dessert! Well, Saturday I get home to him smiling from ear to ear and eager to go out to eat. We went to a place called Carlina Ale House, which was actually really good, and it had the BEST dessert. Chocolate brownie with oreo ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce. Tj's favorite part was that it didn't have any nuts! He ate so much he made himself sick and instead of going to the priesthood session spent the rest of the night on the couch going from couch to bathroom and back. Poor guy!
I was feeling great though, especially after MEMPHIS and KANSAS both won! Now I am guaranteed atleast third with a chance to win first if Memphis beats Kansas! TJ is guaranteed fourth but would also win if Memphis took it all! So, we are recording the game tomorrow because I have to work and he has a final on Tuesday and we are watching it at about 9:30 pm! We'll be keeping our fingers crossed!
I am still feeling really quite well! I'm trying to get used to sleeping on my sides and not on my back, which has been a little different. When I tend to give up and lay on my back, my husband can usually sense it and will wake up and remind me to roll onto my side! =) It's probably quite comical to see me toss and turn from side to side each night. Oh well, it probably only gets worse from here! =) TJ will go to my Dr.'s appointment with me this Friday, which will be the first time he will get to hear the heart beat! I'm pretty excited for him! We will also schedule our ultrasound at this appointment, which I am VERY excited about! I promise to let everyone know what we are having as soon as we know what we are having!
The weather is nice, but it has been REALLY rainy here this week. It think it has rained non stop now for about four or five days! It is nice because we REALLY need the rain, but we also want to go and play tennis, but every time the court starts to dry off, it rains again! =) Oh well, what can ya do! I really can't complain too much though, even though it is raining it is still 60-70 degrees out here! =)
Sorry, I know this is long, but I hope you all have a wonderful week! I will hopefully have more pictures up next week because TJ and I have the weekend off and are headed to the beach for a few days of fun in the sun, rest, and relaxation! YES! =) Have a great week and we love you all!

Congratulations on the pie. It looks really good. I took this conference off and let my mom do it. We also had apple. I love this tradition and I am glad that I could share it with you.

Hello! Was it your intention to NOT tell me you were pregnant when I was at your house for VT? Congratulations! When are you due?
