We're Back!

I'm SOOO sorry that I have fallen behind this past month. It has been very busy, but alot of fun memories as well! It started off like a pretty normal month. TJ was studying like crazy and I was working. Then we had a sad phone call letting us know that Grandma Barnett had passed away. Needless to say, in a rush we made plans to be home for the funeral. I was able to go home for about four days. TJ, however, was in the middle of his midterms so he could not fly out until Monday night, the Funeral was on Tuesday. Then, his flight got cancelled so he did not fly out until Tuesday morning, then flew home Tuesday night! It was quick trip for him, but we were both very happy to be able to attend the funeral and see everyone!
Then, this past week, TJ was off for Spring break! Jen and Torrey came out and we had a WONDERFUL time! TJ took them around on Wednesday to all the sites, then on Thursday we headed to Washington D.C. to see the sites. We were there until late Friday night, then headed home. The weather was VERY chilly, about 32 degrees with 20 degree winds, but we still made some great memories! We were able to see all the major monuments: Lincoln, Vietnam, WWII, Washington Memorial, White House, National Arichives, National History Museam, Air and Space Museum, Korean War Memorial, Arlington Cemetery (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier) and the Freyer Art Museum where we found bowls from 2400 B.C.! We had a great time! Then on Saturday we rested and played cards with a final trip to the Local Dairy for ice cream and then dropped them off at the airport! The time when by quickly, but we had so much fun!
We also have some great news for those that do not know, TJ and I are expecting our first child at the end of September. I am about 11 weeks along now and feeling quite well. I am a little tired but that is about all! Anyway, we are very excited and will keep you posted with the details!
Anyway, now it is back to our usual lifestyles of work and school and a little play! We hope you all have a wonderful week and we look forward to keeping up a little better on this blog from now on!

Congrats on the little Barnett, you guys!!! That's so exciting :) It must be the year of babies... I now know someone who is due every month this year up through Sept. I'm glad you're feeling good, Chel.

I was wondering when you were going to go public. Now I have my answer. I am glad you guys had fun with Jen and Torrey. It was fun to look at your pictures and say I have been there.

What! I wish this had sound so you could hear me screaming and laughing at the same time! And maybe video so you could see the jumping up and down! We have to see you now! So I can give you a huge hug! I know there is some kind of job fair or something in March that Matt wants to come up to so maybe we could see you then! Or you can come down whenever you want! I can't wait to see you!!!
