March Madness! =)

This past week was SOOOO busy, atleast it felt that way! I finally overcame my short term illness by Tuesday when I had to return to work it was just in time! All of my Doctors had a huge conference this week and so they were ALL gone! That left me and about two or three other Docs to fill in for all the patients! Needless to say it was CRAZY busy ALL week long! I worked all day on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and then had to catch up on paperwork on Friday, then worked again on Saturday! Lets just say I was SICK of work by Saturday afternoon! =) I am still not quite caught up, but I am gettin closer! =)
TJ is doing well! He is studying a lot, but is happy because he only has four months left of didactic and then his clinicals start! He is really pumped! This last week he practiced spleenectomies and other surgical procedures! He really enoyed it!
For fun this week we slept in! =) Just kidding! We had some of TJ's classmates over for dinner on Friday night and played some intense Hand and Foot! It was really fun! Then on Saturday we headed out for dinner at On the Border (thanks to Eric and Laura for the gift certificate at Christmas!) It was very delicious and great to get out just the two of us! Then we headed back home to watch the Duke vs. UNC game with another classmate! It was a GREAT game, but unfortunately Duke lost at the end of the game! It was a great weekend and I am sorry that it is already over! Oh well, life must go on I guess! =)
I am twelve weeks tomorrow and have my second Dr.'s appointment so I am excited! I have not felt sick much at all this week, but I have been pretty tired! I can't wait until some of my energy comes back! =) I have found my favorite thing to do is eat Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds right before I go to bed! It is a great treat for me! =)
