Howdy!

So, Tj was so proud of his tractor pull pictures that he talked me into making him a slide show of ALL of the pictures to share with you guys! So, below is the slide show from the tractor pull with ALL of the pictures that we took. Some are a little blurry, so I apologize, but he could not bare to part with any of the pictures! There is also some in there of me eating a deep fried twinkie and a deep fried snickers. Neither of which were very good, but it was traditional North Carolina State Fair food so we had to try it!
This past week was more of a difficult week for us! TJ had four days of lecture followed by a test on day five. It was a test that 75% of the students last year failed, so needless to say he was studying like MAD all week long! All of the wifes got together on Saturday and we were all greatful that Friday's test was over and we were able to have our husbands back. Other than that, everything else was great! He continues to learn so much and it is so much fun to see the excitement in his eyes as he talks about what he is studying! Plus, each day I feel a little more inadequate as I cannot remember all the fine details from the nerve innervation of the adrenal glands to all the small blood vessels in the kidneys! Oh well, what can ya do!
This last week I became one step closer to being more independent at work. The North Carolina State Board recognizes my license now! YEAH! I still have one or two more weeks, but shortly I will be out on my own! I am excited and scared to death all at the same time! I am ready for the independence, but that also means more responsibility. Plus, people are actually going to expect me to know what is wrong with them! =)
This weekend I talked TJ into taking some time off so we could carve pumpkins with some friends. I didn't have my camera but Brook took our picture, so hopefully I will have the picture to post next time! Plus, TJ had a heart walk today for Duke. So we all got together, walked just over a mile, ate some food and enjoyed some free water and chaptstick! It was a lot of fun, there are alot of good people in his program.
Well, I am really enjoying this blog thing, I hope guys enjoy it as well. Have a wonderfull week! I look forward to hearing from all of you!

Love ya!

Great slide show :) Congratulations on almost being on your own. Kristen was expressing the same joys/nerves about going out on her own--but you'll be great! Even after hearing from you that deep fried twinkies and snickers aren't good, I would still have to try one myself!
