One week and then... the beach!

The countdown is on until TJ finishes his rotation (which means he is going to be home with me every night, YEAH) and we head off to the beach for a week of rest and relaxation! I can't hardly wait! This past week has been a lot of fun, well for me and Kaitlynn at least!
Poor TJ left last week with a small cold (Kaitlynn and I gave it to him) and came back on Friday with a sinus infection! He has been recovering all weekend, and is FINALLY starting to feel better! YIPPEEE!!
Other then taking care of TJ, we had some great fun! Friday night we went to a BBQ with my co-workers. It was really fun! Then we headed to Walmart to splurge on some toys for Kaitlynn since we really haven't bought anything for her in her first 6 1/2 months of life. It was a lot of fun! Nothing big, just some new toys. Saturday we also had a BBQ with our ward which was also great! I do have to say that there is quite a contrast between the two BBQ's, as you can imagine!
Work BBQ: All about alcohol and great food, very few children. When I asked for water to drink, she had to make a special trip into the kitchen.
Ward BBQ: Food was great, but the company was better and children, well, there was only about 20 I think! =)
This week we are getting geared up for our much needed little trip to the beach and our 10 mile run! I am quite excited about both but I think it will be interesting to watch me run at 7:30, then get to work, shower, and get ready to see my patients by 9:00. What do you think? I'm a little worried about how I might present to the clinic on Saturday, oh well!
I just want to say Happy Birthday to my dad too! He is such a great example to me and I really appreciate all the sacrifices he has made on my behalf. I know I was not always easy to live with and sometimes I made really bad choices, but he always loved and supported me! I hope you have a great day today dad and I want you to know that we love you and we wish we could be there sharing your special day with you!
