I LOVE Easter weekend! It is usually warm enough to go out and enjoy the weather, we usually have time off from work and we get to celebrate our Saviors atoning sacrifice AND his resurrection. It is such a great time! This weekend was no different!
It is always nice when I am able to spend time with TJ, especially since he is gone more then he is home right now! Friday night we celebrated our friend Josh's birthday. We went to dinner, came home for some dessert with the Christian family and then headed to Frankies, where all your dreams come true, with some of TJ's classmates! It was really fun! Saturday I went running with Brooke and we made 9.5 miles! YIPPEEEE! With only two weeks left until the race, we are feeling pretty good! That night we were treated to a victory dinner because TJ won our couples bracket. It was yummy homemade burritos with some of our favorite people from our ward! Sunday was Easter and we had a great time at church and then I made a big dinner including Easter Ham, home made rolls salad, potatoes and fresh strawberries. Then we went for a LONG walk to enjoy the weather! It was so much fun! I truly appreciate my family and feel so blessed to have such a sweet husband and great daughter!
I do have to say though, I usually REALLY enjoy Easter Sunday because of all the lessons, but this Sunday when something like this:
Get up and get ready
Get Kaitlynn ready (with TJ's help of course)
Get to church on time (YEAH! I had to say the opening prayer! =)
During the Sacrement Kaitlynn wants to be held, no she wants to sit up, no she wants to scream, now she wants to be held again, nope, she wants to scream, finally she finds a happy medium between sitting, lying and screaming by sucking on a toy!
10 minutes go by, she starts crying, time for a nap. TJ takes her to put her to sleep, 20 later he comes back with a sleeping Kaitlynn.
Time for Sunday school, she sleeps for about 30 minutes.
Now she wants to sit, no be held, no scream, no poop. That must feel better.
Relief Society starts, she pooped AGAIN, now she wants to eat.
After eating, she poops AGAIN, now she wants to scream, sit up, be held, suck on toys and now I have to go the bathroom.
What a day! =) Got to love church with a six month old! =)
Happy Easter!

and unfortunately that marks the point where you still have an entire year before nursery. *sigh* it's been agreed by most parents, nursery should start at 1 year!
at least she's cute, right? And good job on the running. I'm way impressed.
She is so cute. I love easter too. Italia didn't get a new dress, but I got her a treasure box of dress up clothes which I think she enjoyed. She kept trying to put the shoes on but they were just to big lol. Plus your dinner sounds delicious. Good JOB!
