"TJ is eating snowflakes!"
Hey everyone!
Hi guys! This last week was so great! TJ and I had a great week! He did well on both of his tests this week, he was so excited! I had a great week at work as well! It was pretty slow, so I was able to catch up on alot of stuff, so it was very rewarding!
Once we got the old, every day boring stuff out of the way, we had some great fun! On Friday night were going to go to an NHL hockey game, but they were all sold out! They aren't even any good, but they still sell out I guess! =) So, instead we went to the movies with some friends. We went to see the Bucket List. It was hilarious! I laughed so hard I almost cried. There was one scene with some language I could have done without, but the rest of the movie is really clean! If you have a chance to watch it, it was so good! =) Get it edited if you want to though! After the movie we all went out for ice cream and just talked and laughed. It was great!
On Saturday I worked, but we also had a little surprise on Saturday! It snowed!! Now, it was really not a lot, but it was kind of fun to see everyone excited about the snow! It snowed for about five hours, but none of it stuck to the roads. Saturday night we went to Brooke and Jason's hosue for some delicous home made pizza and then we were off to the Duke Basketball game against Clemson! It was so fun! It was actually a pretty close game until the last two minutes, then Duke took control! We had a great time!
After the game TJ and I headed to the grocery store for some essentials like bread, eggs, and milk, but it was slim pickins since it snowed on Saturday, everyone and their dog stocked up on those items Friday night! We laughed to ourselves. We were also supposed to get snow last Thursday, so they delayed all the schools atleast two hours and all of the government buildings were delayed to 11:00. It didn't even snow! =) It is hilarious!
Today was a pretty low key day, church was great! My nursery kids are adorable, they keep me laughing. Tj's class was out of control again, but he still has a great time with them! We have ate great food and watched great football, plus we have been able to spend a lot of time together! Life does not get much better then that! Tomorrow we are going to run some errands and have some fun as well, but it is still pretty chilly so probably won't do too much outside! =) I hope you guys are all having a great weekend and enjoying yourselves!
