Hello! This past week was very enjoyable for both TJ and myself. TJ took his test on Monday and did a great job! Then we played a little tennis on Monday night and of course had to watch the BCS bowl championship! We worked and studied for most of the week! On Friday I made the BEST dinner! =) hehahheh Then we headed off for dessert at TGI Friday's which was excellent! We were going to go to a movie, but decided against it and instead shopped for new cars, and then decided we really did not need a new car! I had to work on Saturday, but after work we headed off to a chilli cook-off at one of TJ's classmates house! It was a lot of fun and I actually won a prize for my chilli! I was really excited, we won a prize called "crowd pleaser!" It was really fun! They also had prizes for "spiciest" and "most traditional." We had a great time with everyone, the photo is us at the party with one of his classmates and her friend. His classmate is the one right by TJ and her name is Mary, but everyone calls her Bob.
Today at church, my little nursery kids were hilarious! I laughed so hard I just about cried! One of the little girls, who NEVER gets mad, was eating her little snack when another little boy tried to take her chair. She glared at him and then growled! It was hilarious. Then to top it off, the little boy named Sawyer who tried to take her chair started laughing and said, "Elsie is funny, she went grrrr at Sawyer!"
We have been having a great time out here, but TJ is already counting down the days he has left in this semester. It could be a REALLY long couple of months! =) He is doing very well though and is starting to see patients. He saw his first patient last week and was really excited about it. He also learned how to suture and how to cast and splint on Friday. He called it one of the funnest days of class he has had so far! He cracks me up!
