One week old already!!!

I can't believe that our little girl is already one week old! Time is really flying bye! This past week has been full of memories! I do have to admit, I was prepared for the discomfort after the delivery, the sleepless nights, the blow out diapers, the baby crying, the feeding, and even the chance that I might lose my hair. I was NOT ready or aware of the emotional changes that would occur. I was not ready for the crying non stop, or the surfacing of emotions over EVERY LITTLE THING! I swear, TJ has had to give me more hugs and more comfort in the last week, then he has in our six years of marriage. Sometimes I don't even know why I am crying! I cry over the fact that my baby is crying, I cry when I see TJ holding Kaitlynn, I cry watching the movie "Babe the Pig," I cry when my mom leaves, I cry when I hear someone else cry. I AM OUT OF CONTROL! =)
Other then the crying, things are going great! Kaitlynn is the best baby ever. She sleeps when I need her to, she eats every 3 hours on schedule and poops occasionally! Other then that, she is awake and very happy. I can't believe how alert she is! TJ loves playing with her and all of her toys. He gets so excited to use the bouncer, the swing, the rattles, the stuffed animals, etc. He is seriously the best dad ever!
I feel as though I'm getting the hang of things. I was so proud of myself today because I was able to feed Kaitlynn, give her a bath, eat breakfast, go for a short walk, shower, do my hair and makeup all before noon today! This was a record since she has come home! Most days I stay in my PJ's all day and don't shower until in the evening! My goal is to atleast shower each day this week before 12:00, we shall see how that goes! =)
I have to publically thank my mom for coming out for a week. She is amazing and TJ and I truly appreciate everything she did for us while she was here. I don't know what we would have done without her! Thanks dad for letting her come, we really, really, really, REALLY appreciate it! THANKS SO MUCH! We also have to thank Julie who is still out here with us right now. I know it was a sacrifice for her to come and we really do appreciate all that she has done for us as well. Thanks to her family back at home for giving her up for a whole week! We really do appreciate everything everyone has done for us! We are so truly blessed!
I had better go, I hope you enjoy the pics and we will continue to post more as we are very picture happy right now! We love you all!

You are such a cute mom! I bet it is so nice having help from your mom and Julie. They are so great to come out. What will you do when everyone is gone and you are solo!?! It will be a change! As for the emotions...let's be honest if I have that issue we are all doomed! I cry enough as it is. Let's just hope that I am tired and my hair falls out! I have enough of that to cover me :) but I don't think that anyone can deal with me being more emotional. I think we are in trouble!! :)

Oh she is adorable. I was so fun to see you hold her. I knew you were a mom but just hadn't set in because I have not really seen you in person through the pregnancy but it just made me smile to see you and your daughter. I am so excited for you that you get to share the joys and happiness of being a mom and having a great husband to be a WONDERFUL dad. You have a beautiful daughter and things are just going to get better. Mom told me she pooped on you and that just made me laugh. I hope you are okay with all your emotions and everything, it is really hard at first but I promise it will get better. I love you sis and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

And PS to Sharon, I can't believe how grown up you sound! I just can't get used to it! hehe Seriously, you gave some great advice!

She is so adorable and you are so cute! I would have to say I to remember the crying part. I cried over everything and half the time Stevie just had to hold me and say everything is okay! It was very weird but I promise it does go away:) Sounds like everything is going great though! Being a mom is the greatest! Have fun, and I can already tell the she has TJ wrapped around her little finger:)

She is super cute!! Look at all that hair! I was on some medication last year that made my emotions CRAZY. It's no fun and you really feel like you are crying so much that you are going crazy. I hope it gets better soon.
