39 weeks and...........still no baby! =)
So, I just wanted to let everyone know that as much as I wish I had some exciting news, there is nothing changing at this point. I still have not had any contractions, and I mean NO contractions. I still have not had any progression with dilation or effacement either. Not to mention, the Dr. I saw today does not believe in stripping the membranes and they said that they will wait until between 41-42 weeks before they induce! I really hope I don't have to wait that long, it will mess up ALL of our plans! =) Anyway, so if there are any secrets you know of to increase this process, please don't hesitate to share. I already know walking or exercising and I walk about 3 miles 2-3 times a week WITHOUT any results, I also know Castor Oil, but I read that it can make you have really bad gastric cramps WITHOUT uterine contractions. So, please let me know! =) We will keep you posted if anything happens over the weekend, we love you and hope you are all doing well!

Sorry to hear there isn't any news... I know how awful that feels. I went a week over with Tianna.. but I'll tell ya, what worked for me was doing my visiting teaching and/or drinking raspberry leaf tea. I told my current visiting teaching partner who was a few days shy of her due date and REALLY anxious to have her baby that was my secret. So.. we went VT and I gave her my left-over tea packets and guess what. She had her baby a day and a half later. I'm sure it had nothing to do with it, but it sounds good right? And it certainly beats caster oil! YUCK!
Every time I see that you make a new post i am very disappointed by the title:) lol..i'm sorry there is no news yet. Well you know with Daxen he came two weeks early. I don't want you to feel weird or anything like that but I had Daxen that next morning because Stevie and I well ummm you know did something that morning:) lol...then I went and walked for baout 25 minutes and then bounced on a ball for about 10. He was there the next morning at 6:08 in the morning. I am not sure if that was the cause of it but it sure seemed to work just for us! lol...It is worth a try if you are ready for her to come out!! I hope to hear some goods news soon:) GOOD LUCK! It is amazing!
I cleaned the house like crazy the morning I went into labor with Carter. Scrubbing the tub helped I think...and I got a enjoy a sparkling oasis when I got home from the hospital. Just google "labor induction at home" and you'll find lots of funny things. If nothing else, they are a good laugh! We are thinking about you...hang in there!
If you go to babybellyboutique.com, or just google labor balm, they sell a 38 weeks labor balm that worked to start contractions for me. I would put it on and then take a walk and it would start contractions. Although they do have a disclaimer that says it won't work unless you are ready to go into labor anyway. And I definitely second the "fun" way to induce labor since it will be a while before you will be able to have that kind of "fun" again after the baby! :)
I was just going to say the same as above :) I obviously have no experience but have heard from everyone...that if you get a little frisky then it works like a charm. :) I am also bummed by your baby-less titles. Have that cute kid already!
The wait is so frustrating. Makaylee was 5 days late. I was a bridesmaid for a friend and danced like crazy at the reception. 2 hours after reception I was in labor. My sister-in-law bounced on a yoga ball.
Let me tell you about the membrane thing, they stripped mine about 3 weeks before Italia came. It is so not worth the pain sis. I mean it goes away but to anticipate it working for 3 weeks, yea not worth it. Maybe you just need to convince your body your in labor lol. Maybe do like a pretend labor fun lol. Then kaitlynn will know that everything will be taken care and she won't be scared because she has been through it a few pretend times. hehe! I really am sorry though that she has not come yet. She only came 2 hrs. early and I was in the hospital forever. Maybe just go the hospital and not leave until she decides to come out. Luv you!

Where's that baby?! I keep checking for an update...there haven't been any so maybe she came afterall. I can't wait to see pictures of her.
