For the Love of the Game!

Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all doing great! TJ and I are both doing very well! Sorry I did not update last weekend, but things were just a little too crazy! We had a pretty low key weekend, I worked and TJ studied. We did pick up some more baby stuff including a dresser, diaper bag and our first article of clothing all for about forty bucks! So, not too bad. We also decided to have an intense game of Monopoly Saturday night! It was a riot! We made the rule you couldn't buy the first time around. Well, I got stuck in jail as TJ went around the board buying all the good properties. He ended up with the Red, Yellow and Green! I was sunk! It was a lot of fun though! Then Sunday night we headed to some friends house for a great game! It was a low key, but very fun weekend!
This past week has also been full of great memories. My work was busy as always but TJ took a little road trip on Thursday. He and one of his classmates left at about 3:00 a.m. Thursday morning, drove to New York for the Yankees game, and then drove back home getting home around 2:00 a.m. He had a great time, especially since the Yankees won! I of course stayed home and worked while TJ traveled the country side! =)
Then, Friday morning we went to our ultrasound! It was really exciting and we finally know (kind of) what we are having! Although we ALL thought we were having a boy, after the ultrasound, we found out we are having a little girl. Now this is not quite 100% as she was very polite and modest and would not uncross her legs. However, the ultrasonographer said she did get a quick glimpse and did not see any boy parts! She said that we will just have to trust her that it is a little girl! So, for now, we are having a girl! We are both very excited about it! I also included a picture of me that we took tonight, I am officially about 20 weeks and 3 or 4 days!
We wish we could be with our sweet mother's this weekend to celebrate Mother's Day, but instead you will just get a card and a phone call! We are really enjoying ourselvs out here and we are so greatful for the opportunity we have to live out here. We really are so blessed to be in such a beautiful place! Today I was on a little walk/run and actually saw a turtle crossing over a bridge on the path. It was so cute, I had to stop and take pictures with my cell phone! It is little things each day that help me remember all that I have and remind me to be greatful for all of our many blessings! We love you all and hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Congratulations! We are so excited for you :)

I am still working some dates out on a visit to Nick's cousin's in Philly while we're back east, but as soon as I know what weekends are free I will call and maybe we could see each other? I would love that.

You look so cute--and hardly pregnant at all!

Ugh, the anguish of not knowing for sure!! Even though it was very clear that Tate was a boy, one of the first words out of my mouth was "Is it really a boy?" I was freaked out about having all boy stuff for a girl. You look fabulous - I wouldn't have hardly even know you were pregnant!!

Chel!!!! I am so excited for you! Congrats! I am secretively sad that I don't get to see you and do baby stuff. Not that I am any good at it as I don't have any kids...and lets be honest it will be a while - but I just want to play!!! When are you going to be in Utah? You need to come to Vegas and visit!!!

I am sorry for not writing. No Jasmine has not had her baby. It is irritating to wake up every morning and still no baby. I just know she is going to have it on a day when I have to go to work early too. I will keep you posted when she does decide to pop.

Hey you! I love the slide show! And we wouldn't trade our girls for anything! I'll have to look through our baby stuff again and maybe we can pass on some cute stuff! And sometime I want to see that tiny belly in person!
